How to Cross Promote your Adoption Journey

 
Cross promotion works to get the word out about your adoption journey

Everyone needs help widening their audience, especially those marketing their businesses. Teaming up with someone who owns a small business can help you get a greater exposure for your adoption journey!

Do any of your friends or acquaintances have small businesses like Color Street, Monat, doTERRA, Pampered Chef, or Mary Kay? My guess is yes! Those friends are likely hungry for more exposure- after all, it's how they earn a living! Ask if they would be willing to do some cross promotion with you. Hold a party for them with all of your friends then ask if you may be involved with future parties that they have. If they have home parties they can share your outreach cards and promote your search on their social media pages and you will do the same for them! It's a win-win.

Another idea for those friends with small businesses is to ask if they might consider doing a fundraiser with you, with the proceeds going to your adoption journey. In return you can host an "online party" and market the heck out of it, which of course adds to their exposure. They may be able to get involved with multiple people in the company and hold a large fundraiser, where a percentage of the profits from sales would go towards your adoption. This would be a great way for them to generate sales for themselves and your cause, as well as get the word out about their company and your adoption journey. A person at one of these parties could know an expectant parent that is considering adoption, too!
