INTRODUCTION

I am so excited to share my story with you and am honored that you are considering me to be part of your adoption journey.

I decided to adopt because I’ve always wanted children and a family of my own and am confident that I will be a loving and nurturing mom.

While there is never a perfect time to start a family, I’m excited to begin this new chapter of my life. I am blessed to have a strong network of family and friends who will support me each step of the way and know that it will be worth it! I look forward to having you be part of my adoption journey and hope this profile gives you a sense of who I am and the love I can provide a child.

about ME

I was born and raised in NC and moved to Charlotte, a place I now call home since 2010.

I’m fortunate to have a career in healthcare I enjoy and to be working with a team and an organization that is very supportive of working parents.

Outside of my career, I enjoy being active and spending time with family and friends. I enjoy running, hiking, yoga, bike riding and working out at the local Y. A few years ago, I decided it was time to try something new, so I joined a women’s triathlon training group. While it was probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, it was also a lot of fun! In addition to exercising, I also enjoy reading, cooking and traveling.

I LOVe TO Travel

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to have been able to travel abroad and learn about different cultures, which has opened my mind to new beliefs and perspectives. I look forward to sharing the gift of travel and exploration with my child.

MY HOME AND FAMILY

My own upbringing is a reflection of the family I want to create for myself.

I grew up in a loving home where values like respect, hard work and honesty were instilled at an early age.

I fondly remember waiting at the bus stop with my dad on cold winter mornings, summers playing badminton in our front yard, and dinner together every night at the kitchen table with lots of laughter and chatter about our activities of the day. There was lots of love, nurture and stability.

I’m also fortunate to have a community of friends in Charlotte, many of whom have children of their own, who will be a great source of strength and support to me and my son or daughter.

It is these same values and sense of belonging and community that I will instill in my child and our family.
