Hi! I’m Jessica

Welcome! I'm excited to share a peek into my life with you. I am blessed with an abundance of health, wealth and happiness and I deeply hope to have the honor of sharing that with a child. My sweet 13 year old dog, Jackson, and brand new beautiful kitten, Olive, will tell you I'm a kind, warm, gentle and loving mamma providing for their every need. You will find us in the picture-perfect Pacific Northwest where we spend as much time outdoors as possible. I love to hike, bike, camp and walk at the nearby lakes and mountains. In the rainy Seattle weather I head indoors for some reading, meditation, cooking and self care.

While I'm originally from Michigan I have lived all over the country and even Switzerland and England as well.

Now I'm settled in Kirkland which is right outside of Seattle, Washington. I speak Spanish and just started taking Italian lessons as well - che divertimento! As you can imagine I love to travel and it's not only my hobby but also my job.

I am lucky to have my own business advising hotels how to be most profitable. As I work from home, I have total flexibility in my schedule which allows a great balance for the parenting I have already done as a foster mom.

The Beach Is My Backyard

My apartment home is steps from Lake Washington. I live in a charming home-study approved 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom apartment. Kiddo's room has lots of light and is decorated in mint green and light pinks. It's a little girl's dream room designed to be an inviting and cozy space. The schools in my neighborhood are top rated and diverse.

fun facts about me

• I love animals & have been a vegetarian since I was 13 years old 

• Foster parenting since 2019 & active in my nieces and nephew's lives  

• Italian is my favorite food and I could eat pasta all day every day! 

• I've seen every episode of The Simpsons at least three times - I love to laugh 

• Clue & Scrabble are some of my favorite games and I have learned lots of new card games (like SlapIt!) from the kids in my life 

• Especially interested to hear from first families making an adoption plan for their little girl under the age of 6 

• Open adoption is welcome however this is your journey so your wishes & intents will be respected 

• Slow transitions or fast - I can go at your pace 

• Supportive family, friends and community ready to be my village in parenthood

• Raised Presbyterian I now identify as more spiritual than religious which allows me to freely support your faith preferences
