INTRODUCTION

Hi! We’re Jeff and Gia!

We are so excited and thankful to be going on this heartfelt journey with you and cannot express enough how much respect and appreciation we have for the selfless decision you are making.  Thank you for taking the time to read and consider our profile.

Although we were just married in October 2019, our story actually started in 1983 as junior high school and high school sweethearts in a small town in Massachusetts.  While our paths took us in different directions after high school, our friendship remained strong.  We found our way back to each other in 2018 and it was like nothing had ever changed, and we picked up right where we had left off so many years ago.  While we each had our own children and developed a strong blended family, there was still something missing...a child together.  Unfortunately we're not able to have children of our own together, which is why adoption is the perfect choice for our family.  When we told our kids our plans for adoption, they were all so excited and can’t wait to meet their future sibling! We also want you to know that we are open to adopting a child of any race. We have so much love to give and being able to raise a child together would fulfill a dream we've had since the 7th grade.

We met in the 7th grade in a small town in central Massachusetts and have been best friends ever since.

We were inseparable then and we're inseparable now! So much so that Gia is Jeff's dental assistant at his dental practice. Gia spent the majority of her adult life in childcare and eventually owned two daycare centers. Jeff has been a dentist for 25 years and loves working with Gia, especially since they're able to have the same schedules and enjoy their time off together.. We enjoy going to concerts, experiencing new restaurants/cuisines, traveling, and going to the beach. The things we probably love the most though, are rooting on our favorite teams, the New England Patriots (we're from Massachusetts), the Carolina Hurricanes (we live in Raleigh), and the Michigan Wolverines (Jeff is a Michigan alum), and spending time with our kids.  Jeff enjoys playing golf, doing cross fit, and hiking.  Gia loves everything Disney, reading, and camping.

our home and families

We live on a cul de sac in a family neighborhood in a nice suburb of Raleigh, NC. Our house is a colonial with a large fenced in back yard with plenty of space to play.  Between the two of us we have six children, four are grown and out of the house, while Jeff's son Evan is with us every other weekend, and Gia's 10 year old son Hunter lives with us. We are lucky enough to live close enough to most of the older children/adults and they visit us often. We love having all of them here together! Gia's oldest daughter lives in Massachusetts with our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. We have two dogs, Brady and Luna, who are just like our children.

Things You Might be Surprised to Learn About Us

Jeff has his own food blog.

We were married in Jamaica.

Both of our parents live 15 minutes from each other in The Villages, FL.

We participated in the Guinness Book of World Records’ largest 1k flip flop run.

Jeff has applied to be on Survivor and Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

Gia has been to Disney 14 times.

We've stayed at 15 different Airbnb's in the last 2 years, including an RV, a tiny house, a log home, and a house on the top of a 4000 foot mountain.

Gia was a hair model and a clothing store model when she was 12 years old.

We were named cutest couple in our 8th grade yearbook.

We are so excited at the opportunity to become parents again and look forward to welcoming another child into our hearts. 

We promise to make sure the child always knows where they came from and how much they were loved.
