INTRODUCTION

Hi! We’re Frank and Moreno!

We are so happy to meet you! We are grateful and excited you are taking time to read our profile and giving us the chance to tell you a bit more about us. Thank you again for reading about us and we hope to meet in person one day. 

We live in beautiful Chicago. Our neighborhood is a diverse and open community in the suburbs of Chicago where people still sit on their front porches to watch their kids ride bikes and play. It’s a beautiful town to raise a family, quaint, filled with parks, with easy access to cosmopolitan Chicago.

this is our story

We met through the classic “friend of a friend”.

Our first date was at a French restaurant in Chicago (still one of our favorites) where we talked all night long. The day after, Moreno had to leave for a business trip abroad and remained incommunicado for few days… until he received the text “I'm going to Puerto Vallarta for a few days” from Frank and Moreno replied, “Can I come?” The rest is history. 

We dated for several months and had the chance to discover each other. Weekends in NYC, in Mexico and of course here at home. We got married 7 years ago as soon it became legal in the state of Illinois. 

We complement each other. Our love for family and culture is what brought us together. We respect and nurture each other’s dreams and aspirations. 

We both speak several languages and love to discover people, countries and cuisines of the world. We've had the chance to travel and learn the importance of experiencing the beauty and diversity that this world has to offer. 

Our dream would be to give your child the opportunity to see the world and conquer it with love. To grow responsible and kind to others, while showing her/him that there are no limits to achieving your dreams.

our home

We live in the Midwest close to one of the biggest metropolitan areas of the US.

Our home is located in a beautiful community filled with parks, lawns and children playing in the front yards. Our house was built in 1871 in the architect Frank Lloyd Wright district with a craftsman style and it was completely refurbished in 2017.

There are many features of our home that we love but one of our favorite areas is our kitchen as this is where we create memories and entertain friends, on top of cooking of course! The kitchen opens to a big space where we can relax. We also love our gym and big family living space on the lower level of our house.

Our community is truly amazing: it is diverse, has very good schools and 2 universities, all within walking distance! During the summer, the park district organizes tons of fun activities for the kids to be busy and socialize.

We are a part of a big, multicultural and multilingual family. 

On Moreno’s side we have Nonno Luigi and Nonna Daniela, while on Frank’s side we have Abuelito Juan and Abuelita Sara. These patriarchs and matriarchs are the foundation of our big families that account for a lot of uncles, aunts and cousins. To make it short: our family is big and abundant and we are blessed to be part of a forward-thinking family that embraces us and supports us in every possible way. Nonna Daniela is always funny and loud, Nonno Luigi likes to fix things, Abuelita Sara is always cooking something amazing while Abuelito Juan tells old stories.

Who Moreno Is

Moreno is the love of my life and soulmate; I love how spontaneous and creative he is. This was one of the first things that made me fall in love with him. He loves art and music (even if, believe or not, he studied mathematics). He enjoys going to concerts and visiting art galleries.  

Moreno is originally from Rome, Italy (but has lived in the US for several years) and our extended family still lives there. Moreno is very close to his nephews and when they visit, he likes to spend time individually with each of them. He makes sure each one of them feels special by doing what they like to do. He likes planning vacations with them so they can see the world.  

On the weekends Moreno likes to explore the beautiful city we live in. He enjoys visiting different restaurants and cafés as well as enjoy the Chicago architecture. He loves a good book (we have tons in our house!) and taking our dog for long walks. Moreno has one weakness and that’s pizza.

Who Frank Is

Frank is the kindest human being I have ever met. He is truly generous, with everyone, always smiling and trying to cheer up others. Frank is amazing with kids and likes to spend time with them. He is thoughtful, funny and caring; he is good at listening and understanding people.Whenever he visits my family in Rome, Frank always manages to spend time with each of our 5 nephews by taking them out for stroll, lunch and some good shopping. With our niece and nephews living here in Chicago, food and fun days happen all the time. Frank is strong-willed and works hard to achieve his dream: he graduated from a Masters program a few years ago after changing his career aspirations. When he’s not working hard, Frank likes to travel, play sports and discover new restaurants around town.
